Peacefully, surrounded by family, at O'Leary Community Hospital, on January 21, 2014, Blair Martin Wallace of Brooklyn, P.E.I., formerly of Mississauga, Ont., age 61 years. Born at Alberton on February 15, 1952, he was the son of the late Merrill and Pearl (nee Brennan) Wallace. Left to mourn are brothers: Douglas (Ferne) of Alberton; Ray (Sandra) of Holland Landing, Ont.; Donald (Nancy) of Holland Landing, Ont.; Bill of Mississauga; Stephen of Elmsdale; and sisters: Ida MacDonald of Cove Head Road, Lulu McAssey of Alma, Jean (Weldon) Rennie of Alma, and Deborah (John) Moore of Nestleton, Ont., sister-in-law Ethel Lee Wallace of Mississauga, Ont., many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Helen Inman and Sanda MacIntosh. Predeceased by brothers Clayton and Roger, brother-in-law Stewart MacDonald and Robert McAssey and sister-in-law Evelyn Wallace. Resting at Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., Rev. Garth MacKay officiating. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours Friday 2 p.m., until time of funeral. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, would be gratefully appreciated.
