McEWEN, ANN E. - Ann E. McEwen, 73, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Elmwood Drive, Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Lotte (Loftus) Boileau. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and a former Home Support Worker. She was a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, loved flowers and spending precious time with her family. Ann will be sadly missed by her children, Debbie MacDonald (Stephen Nolan) of Carleton Place, ON, Charles McEwen (Susan) of Moncton, Kathy McEwen (Chris Fenton) of Plano, Texas and Rodney McEwen of Moncton; grandchildren, Cory MacDonald, Tara MacDonald, Dwayne McEwen, Jessica Farrell, Justin McEwen, Cecelia McEwen and Cassandra Sigurdson; great grandson, Lance; stepchildren, James and John McEwen; sisters, Jackie Boileau, Caroline Whittaker (Colin) and Marion LeBeau (Alan). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Doug Boileau and sister, Linda Boileau; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Cecelia McEwen.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Derek Geldart officiating. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
