CURRIE, RONALD - 1933 - 2014 - Ronald Currie, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on January 23rd, 2014, at the age of 80. Born in Doucetteville, PE, son of the late George and Gertrude Currie. He will be sadly missed by his childrens; Dan (Patti) of Saint John, Debbie Jaillet, Kathleen (John), Jeremie all of Moncton, grandchildren; Ashley, Trevor, Laura and Jadyn. He is also survived by two sisters, Donna (Bernie) Deal of Florida and Lorraine (George) Crandall of PE and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by Joan Currie, Patsy Currie and Paulette Currie of Toronto.
In keeping with Ronald’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
