CROKE, Daniel James - Of St. Brendan's, passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on January 23rd, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer, Daniel Croke, aged 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and John Croke, Brother James Croke and Sister-in-Law Ellen Croke (Nee Walsh). Leaving to mourn his loving wife Mary (Nee Walsh), Brothers-in-Law Jack Walsh (Kitty), Loyola Walsh, Aiden Walsh (Kathy), and Sister-in-Law Genivieve Philpott (friend Wayne), niece Jackie (Gord Byrne) and family; nephews: Shawn (Trudy Rockwood), Dion (Wendy) and family, and Darryl; as well as a large circle of family and friends. He will be resting at St. Gabriel's Church, St. Brendan's Friday January 24th evening, Saturday, Janruary 25th, and Sunday, Janruary 25th. Funeral Mass will take place Monday, January 27th at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel's R.C. Church, St. Brendan's. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Gabriel's Parish, St. Brendan's.
