Passed peacefully away on Friday, January 24, 2014 (Ruth) Joanne Templeton (nee Randell), age 79 years at Tiffany Village, St. John's. Predeceased by her parents Alma and Herbert Randell. Leaving to mourn her husband of 54 years David; children Heather (Ewan) Cumming; David (Janet); Janet (Poul) Laursen; six grandchildren: Jill and Beth Cumming, Adam (Denise) and Paul (Kristyn) Templeton, Evan and Erik Laursen; sisters Phyllis (Hank) Mews, Judy (Douglas) Shedden and Robyn Randell Zuck; In-laws Isabelle Templeton and Peter (Margaret) Templeton. A large circle of nieces and nephews. Close friends Berdina Hyson, and John and Faith Henderson; many dear life long friends and her "Club Girls". A celebration of life will take place Saturday January 25 between 2 - 7pm at the Fluvarium, Pippy Park. Funeral service will take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday January 26th. Funeral arrangement entrusted to Barrett's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. No flowers by request.
