Mr. William (Bill) Saunders of Bay Roberts passed away suddenly at the Health Science Centre, St. John's on Friday, January 24, 2014. Mr. Saunders was 67 years old. Mr. Saunders was involved with a number of organizations he was a Master of Lodge Mackay, he was on the Board of Directors for The Bay Arena Association, a member of the Shriners and he also served on the Vestry of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Shearstown. He leaves to mourn his loving family: Wife: Linda Saunders; Children: Lynette (Wayne) Whelan, Chad Saunders (Carla Coffin) & Bradford Saunders (Emily Morgan); Grandchildren: Stephanie & William Saunders; Sisters: Rita Holmes, Donna (Derek) Drover & Clarice (Lyle) Marshall, And a large circle of family & friends. Predeceased By: Parents: William & Clarice Saunders, Brother-in-Law: Ed Holmes. The funeral service will take place at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Shearstown on Monday, January 27, 2014 at, 2 P.M. with inurnment to follow at a later date. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE'S FUNERAL HOME, L.T. STICK DRIVE, BAY ROBERTS, between the hours of Monday: 10:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.
