We, the family of the late Ernie Carey who passed away Nov. 28, 2013 would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us in anyway during Ernie’s illness and after his passing. For the many visits, phone calls, monetary gifts, food, Mass and Sympathy cards, donations made to various charities in Ernie’s name and for family members who travelled to be with us at this difficult time, we are forever grateful. Thank you to Fr. Peter McLeod, Eucharistic Ministers, altar servers, choir, readers and St. Joseph’s C.W.L. for the lovely reception after the funeral. Thanks to all the hospital staff (Northside and Regional) for your kindness and compassion especially Palliative Care Unit and V.O.N. you are truly a special group of people. Thank you to Jim and Kate Young of Francis Funeral Home for your kindness and professionalism. Special thanks to Adrian and Gloria Blinkhorn for carrying Ernie to his resting place.
