JAMES, Rosalie Ann (nee MacIsaac) - passed away peacefully at her home in Calgary on January 25, 2014 after a long and drawn out illness, surrounded by her family. Born in Yarmouth on January 14, 1945 she was a daughter to the late Charles and Anna (Doucette) MacIsaac. Rosalie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to many. Her intuitive and compassionate nature made her a magnet in any situation, drawing people to her and making them feel as if she had known them their whole life. All those whose lives she had touched will sadly miss her, and all the energy she shared. She is survived by her devoted husband, William James, her two children, Tami Proude, (Rick Geddes) and Marty Proude, (Shelley Proude), her step daughters, Lori James, Jody James, eight grand children, Jamie, Madison, Sydney, Paige, Spike, Virginia, Dallas, Lexi, three great grandchildren, (soon to be four), Austin, Ella and Sophia. As well as a very large extended family, mostly in Nova Scotia. The family is planning a small private remembering, and at a later date a celebration of life in Yarmouth. Rosalie had such a huge heart that any donation made in her memory would please her, but she had a special place in her heart for the homeless and vulnerable children in our society.
