McCLUSKEY, GRACE - 1932 - 2014 - Grace Christian McCluskey (nee Hudson) passed away peacefully at her residence after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones, on January 27th, 2014. Born in Grand Falls, NB on December 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (McQuade) Hudson. She was married to Gerard McCluskey (who predeceased her) and worked at the Grand Falls Manor until her retirement in September of 1996. She was a member of the Grand Falls Ladies Auxiliary for several years. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Harvey) Peters of Grand Falls, David (Kathy) of Oromocto, Eddie of Oromocto, James (Roslyn) of Victoria, BC, Craig (Yami) of Moncton, Charlotte (Frank) Jensen of New Denmark, Janet (Rick) Hansen of Moncton, Dale (Dave) Doucette of Oromocto, Guy (Donna) of Grand Falls, Kelly (Arlen) Christensen of New Denmark and Lorrie (Scott) Lakin of Glendale, AZ, 24 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, brothers James and Allister Hudson and one sister Ardith Hand. She was predeceased by her sisters in law Elizabeth Hudson, Joyce Hudson and brother in law Gilbert Hand.
As per Grace’s wishes, there will be no visitation, and a graveside service will be held later in the spring. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Fair Haven Funeral Home, Moncton, NB.
