The death occurred peacefully with her family by her side, at Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Monday, February 3, 2014 of Elsie Edith Mayne, formerly of Emerald, in her 95th year.
Devoted daughter of the late George and Minnie (Paynter) Mayne. Beloved aunt of Barry Mayne (Carol J.), Emerald; Brenda Sinclair (Wendell), Summerfield; Carol A. Mayne, Charlottetown; Kevin Mayne, Charlottetown; and Kenny Mayne (Lori), Searletown. Sister-in-law of Evelyn Mayne, Emerald; and wonderful aunt to many second and third generation nieces and nephews.
She was the sole surviving member of her family, predeceased by siblings and their spouses: Verna Sharpe (Lindsay), Evelyn Yeo (Harold), Winston Mayne (Jean), Herman Mayne (Margaret), Leeland Mayne (Violet), Fenton Mayne, Florence Day (Harland), Wendell Mayne (Georgie); and much-loved nephew, Alan, and niece, Janice.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in the Summerfield United Cemetery.
