DRISDELLE, HAZEL - 1926 - 2014 - Hazel Drisdelle, 87, formerly of Scoudouc, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Villa Providence in Shédiac. Born on July 25, 1926 in Barryville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Millie (Vautour) Desroches. She was a custodian with the School District #11. She worked for the parish St-Jacques-le-Majeur in Scoudouc and was a member of the Golden Club in Scoudouc. She is survived by two daughters: Norma Boudreau of Shédiac and Phyllis Drisdelle of Dieppe; four sons: Eugène (Marie-Louise) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Louis (Charline) of Shédiac, Ronald of Fredericton and Roger (Berthe) of Dieppe; two sisters: Susan Woitowiz (Bill) and Marie Jenkins, both of Hamilton; one brother, Allan (Marilyn) of Miramichi; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond (1985); six brothers: Henry, Benny, Georges, Holden, Leonard and Johnny.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shédiac (532-3297) on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of departure (9:40). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jacques-le-Majeur Roman Catholic Church, 3091 Route 132, Scoudouc on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10 am. Interment will be in parish cemetery. In memory of Hazel, a contribution to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
