CROWELL, Joyce Mary (Bicknell), 88, formerly of Bear Point, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was born on August 15, 1925 in Haslemere, Surrey, England. The daughter of the late Job and Mary Ann (Booker) Bicknell. Joyce came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. Leaving behind her mum and dad, seven sisters and brothers. She was loved by all her family and was known as Nanny to all of us. Joyce is survived by her children, David E. Crowell (Leona), Madola A. Crowell (Bill), Sandra A. Greenwood and Chester James Crowell (Debbie); grand-children, Joyce Strickland (Doug), Julie Amiro (Graham), Kenneth M. Crowell, James B. Crowell (Christa) and Ernest P. Crowell (Jennie); great grandchildren, Gracie Crowell, Journie Crowell, Hope Crowell, Dustin Crowell, Miranda Amiro and Brendan Amiro. She was predeceased by her parents, and husband, Chester G. Crowell. There will be no public visitation or funeral service by request. Directions are under the care of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington.
