MacLEOD, WAYNE - Wayne Alton MacLeod, 67, of Dieppe, and formerly Second North River passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Harewood, he was a son of the late Charles and Daisy (Lewis) MacLeod. Wayne was a retired Supervisor at Canada Bread with forty five years service. He was a member of the Air Force Veterans Club, Dart Club and the Havelock Sportsman Club. He enjoyed four wheeling, hunting, time spent at the camp, but most of all being with his girls. His is survived and missed by his loving companion Gisele Girouard; twin daughters Amanda MacLeod of Monteagle and Meagan MacLeod of Fort McMurray, AB; mother of his girls Lynda MacLeod of Monteagle; sisters Donna MacLeod of Salisbury West and Marilyn Pollock (Dan) of Petitcodiac; brother Lee MacLeod (Christine) of Havelock; special friends Shirley Fontaine (Bernie) and Geanine LeBlanc (Larry) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by sister Phyllis Steeves and brothers Norman, Garnett and Lewis.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Tuesday, February 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. and from where the funeral will be Wednesday, February 12 at 11 am with Pastor Dave McPherson officiating.
