Grace Elizabeth Wood, age 85, of Springhill, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at All Saints Hospital, Springhill.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the Late William and Grace (Terris) Livingstone.
Grace loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed camping, listening to music, and was an avid reader.
She will be sadly missed by 4 sons, Raymond, Springhill, Gordon (Vanda), Parrsboro, Harry (Ruth), Springhill and Wayne, Riverview; 2 daughters, Shirley (Peter) Ducsharm, Kirkland Lake, ON and Jean (Ron Embree) Wood, Springhill; 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Brandon, Kelsey, Michael, Kevin, and Caitlyn; 3 great-grandchildren, Jazlyn, Hannah Jackson.
She was predeceased by her husband Clyde Wood; daughter Elizabeth; 4 brothers; 6 sisters.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361) where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2 pm. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, in the spring.
