It is with great sadness that the families of Audrey Ethel Hewitt nee Jacobs announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, N, at the age of 86 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories. Her children; Ross Hewitt of Jackson's Arm, NL, Lorna Ricketts of Stephenville, NL, Sybil (Morris) Fudge of Burin, & Gordon (Diane) of Marystown, NL, Her grandchildren; Melvin, Bruce, Eugene, Sybil, Jolene, Pamela, Kimberly, Todd, Beverly, Michelle, Lori, Shane, Dawn, Colleen, Lindsey, & Matthew. Her great grandchildren; Christopher, Shawn, Tara, Chantille, Ross, Logan, Iain, Samuel, George, Angelina, Taylor, Emily, Nathan, Kaiden, Spencer, Gracie, Sophie, Grace, Beth, Aaron, & Grant. Her sister; Ruby Jacobs (Norman) of Westport, NL, Brother; Gerald (Shirley), & sisters in law; Sophie, Ethel, Theresa, & Hilda. Mother was predeceased by her husband; John, daughter; Clarice, son; Wilson, her parents; Cyril & Susanna Jacobs, her sisters; Blanche Hurley, & Lucy Jacobs, & her brothers; Walter, Harvey, Baxter, & Alexander. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Jackson's Arm, NL, on Saturday, February 15th, 2014, from the hours of 6-7 pm, and continuing on Sunday, February 16th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place on Monday, February 17th, 2014, at 2: pm with Rev Boone officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Church cemetery in Jackson's Arm, NL. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
