Passed away by his own hand after a lengthy and brave battle with mental illness, Louis Elphage Wynn Jones Bernard, age 28 years. Lovingly remembered by his parents Andy Jones and Mary Lynn Bernard, his sister Marthe and her partner Jesse McKeown, aunts Mary Win Clair (Michael), Cathy Jones, Zoé Bullen, Jean Rancourt, JoAnne Moore (Steve), Jackie Logan (Roy), Trish Bernard (Alan), Eleanor Jones and Susan Williams, uncles Michael Jones, Mark Bernard (Donna), Danny Bernard (Donna), many dear cousins, other relatives and friends especially Brenda, Mark, Walter, Edward and Alice Ferguson-O'Brien, Susan O'Brien, David Hooper, Mary Walsh and Amanda Penney. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, February 19 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, February 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service of celebration will take place on Friday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. from Gower St. United Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
