The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 of Mr. Joseph McKenna of Charlottetown, age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Mona McKenna (nee Moran). Dear father of David (Roberta) McKenna, Mary (Barry) MacKinnon, Paul (Pam) McKenna, Terry (Nora) McKenna, Maureen (Bill) Dawson and Mark (Sara) McKenna. He is lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Mike McKenna(Jen); Jill MacKinnon, Jane Cleveland(Jeremy), and Ellen Carew(Andy); MandyLise and Carolyn McKenna; Ryan, Tressa and Mark Lloyd; Julia, Melanie and Jake McKenna; Anne, Mae, John and David Dawson; Jeremy, Georgie, Summer, & Avery McKenna; and son-in-law Mike Lloyd. He was predeceased by his parents Patrick & Marion(nee Reid) McKenna, his Sister Mary Eileen, son, George P. McKenna, daughter, Mona Ann Lloyd, and grandson, Rob McKenna. He is survived by his much-loved brother Reid McKenna. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until 9:45 Friday morning, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot at The Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
