CROCKWELL, JOHN DERMOTT - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 John Dermott Crockwell of Jemseg, passed away at the age of 21. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Francis Crockwell and Pierrette St. Louis. John was employed with Gerry Caissie and Dr. Diane Stackhouse and was a volunteer firefighter with the Jemseg Fire Department. He was an avid hockey card collector and loved movies, especially comedies. Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandparents Jessie St. Louis and Margaret Crockwell; aunts and uncles, Sharon McLaughlin, Rachel Leclair (Bernard), Sheila Gray (Michael), Matthew St. Louis, Tammy Gioia, Billy Crockwell (Wanda) Leo Crockwell, Cathy Crockwell, and Stephen Anderson; several cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters Samantha Drusilla and Kaitlyn Ashley; grandfathers John Dermott Crockwell and Lewellyn Joseph St. Louis; an aunt Marion Anderson.
A funeral service will be held from Mill Cove Church of God on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Steven Ferris officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Esmonde, ON. For those who wish, memorials to the Jemseg Fire Department would be appreciated.
