Michel Leblanc

LEBLANC, MICHEL- Michel Leblanc, 60, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Friday February 21, 2014 at his residence. Born on October 31, 1953 in Moncton, he was the son of the Marguerite (Bourgeois) LeBlanc and the late Thomas LeBlanc. After his retirement as a corrections officer at the Moncton Detention Centre, he co-founded A-1 Lumpers. Besides his mother of Dieppe, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mae Adshade; two children: Rosa Awad (Tarek) of Québec and Justin Edmonds (Nicole Cormier) of Moncton; one extended family member, Richard Miller (Alizah) of Edmonton, AB; two grandchildren: Alexis and Alayna; one sister, Denise Bourgeois (Maurice) of Moncton; one brother, Claude of Prince Edward Island; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at 4:30 pm. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be in River Philip United Church cemetery in River Philip, N.S.
