The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Garden Home on Sunday, November 9, 2008, of Lorette Doiron, formerly of North Rustico, age 88 years. Lorette was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Doiron; mother of St. Clair “Joe", Audrey (Theo) Wiegers, Ignatius (Theresa), Pope, Eric (Val), Allister (Rosie), Roger (Dianne), Linus (Julie) and Michael (Jacinta); grandmother of Todd (Tina) and Trent Doiron; Sylvia (Gar) Andrew, Barb (Allan) Stewart, Francis (Sharon) Wiegers, Paul (Jeannette) Wiegers and Paula (Scott) Blacquiere; Brenda (Keith) Gillard; Barbra Doiron, Cheryl (Mike) Lohrentz and Kari Doiron; Theresa, Jolene, Angela and Tammy; Corrine and Krista Doiron; Adam (Marsha) Doiron, Corey Doiron, Nicolle (Jeremy) Stead and Ashley Doiron; Christopher, Johnathan and Leanne Doiron; and Jordan, Lyndon and Nevin Doiron; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by grand-son-in-law Jim Norman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband, Arthur, she was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Ann, in infancy, and granddaughter, Patricia Wiegers Norman. Lorette was the last surviving member of the family of the late Angus and Priscilla (Pineau) Buote. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, November 11, 2008, from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
