Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 22nd at St. Clare's Hospital, Jody McKinlay Whittle, age 63. Predeceased by her Mother Imelda (1988) Father Alex (1977), sister Sandra (1993) and her long time special friend John (2011). Leaving to mourn her loss and celebrate her life are her sons Ian (Jillian) and Alexander. Brothers Gavin (Ann) Texas; Angus (Denise) St. John's; sister Lesley (Jim) Oakville, ON; Special friends Ed and Bonnie Whittle; cousin and soul mate Sharon; her work family at IBEW Local 1615 and a large circle of friends and extended family. A special thank you to her support team, Sharon, Carol, Susan, Mary, Denise, Geri and Jillian, also to the Nurses and Doctors at the Palliative Care Unit and St. Clare's 7 West. At Jody's request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Caul's Chapel. Inurnment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Kilbride. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
