Predeceased by her husband George; parents Dorothy Wells and Stewart Combden and her brothers Robert, Harold, Richard and John. Leaving to mourn her sisters Edna and Loretta; brothers Pearce, Hormon, Herb, Cliff, Bob and Howard; daughters Jacqueline, Margaret (Raymond), Deborah (Dale) and Cheryl (Luke); grandchildren Craig, Cherie, Naomi, Amanda, Joseph, Nicholas and Jared and 12 great grandchildren. With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear mother who passed away after a long illness on February 20th, 2014 at Hoyles Nursing Home, St. John's. She was a woman of profound faith and had a deep love of the Bible. She took great pride in her girls and great joy in her grandchildren. She loved to cook and knit and spent many wonderful years on Fogo Island with her husband George. Warmest thanks to Hoyles staff for the care and respect shown to our mother. Many thanks to family & friends for the gifts of flowers and food. A graveside service for family & friends will be held on Fogo Island in July.
