He had a great interest in woodworking, guitar, singing, storytelling, bingo and card playing. Chuck will be remembered as a loving husband and father, a helpful friend and neighbor. He never shied away from hard work, and every job was done to the best of his ability. “Learn to do it well, then learn to do it fast” was his motto. He had a great sense of humour, a quiet sensitive nature, and he faced the challenges of pulmonary fibrosis without complaint, and stayed positive until the end. The family wishes to thank all the people involved in Chuck’s care: VON nurses, respiratory therapists, Dr. Hazen Burton, Dr. Anne Gordon, and others too numerous to mention. The insights and support gained from those visits was invaluable. Special thanks to Ralph and Betty Worr for the regular visits, advice, helping with oxygen, snow removal, and the list goes on and on. Arrangements were entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where visitation was held Sunday, March 2 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. in St. John’s Anglican Church, 164 Main St., Wolfville, Rev.
