Anna was always known as a dedicated worker, holding jobs in Fredericton at Zellers, Auto Machinery, Base-Gagetown and in Woodstock as Admitting Clerk at the Carleton Memorial Hospital for almost 15 years. She was a volunteer at St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church, the Canadian Cancer Society and the Red Cross. Young at heart well into her 90’s, she never seemed to show her age. She will be remembered for her young and independent spirit, as well as her ability to bake dozens of her famous apple pies. Anna’s caring nature for others was evident in the many good friends with whom she was blessed. The two most important things in her life were her family and her faith. Receiving the Bishop Dollard Medal in 2012 was a highlight of her life. She was happiest surrounded by family and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
