BOURQUE, REBECCA - Rebecca Bourque, 94, wife of the late Ola Bourque (1986), of Chênes De Mambré, Shediac and formerly of Tipperary Street, Shediac, passed away on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born March 24, 1919 in Dupuis Corner, she was the daughter of the late Honoré and Alina (Arsenault) Landry. She will be sadly missed by her son, Joseph (Rose Boudreau) of Lakeville; three sisters: Rina Lirette of Grand-Barachois, Sylvie Saulnier of Cap-Pelé and Edith LeBlanc (Alphée) of Dieppe; one brother, Alcide Landry (Cecile) of Grand-Barachois; a daughter in-law, Gisèle Bourque of Shediac; five grandchildren: Marc, Ginette, Nicole, Georgie and Terry, many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a son, Donald (1976); four sisters: Léah, Léontine, Yvonne and Stella; two brothers: Gélas and Alonzo.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours will be Thursday March 13, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph Roman Catholic church, Shediac on Friday March 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Rebecca, a donation to the family would be appreciated.
