Catherine ‘Kaye' Rankin
We, the family of the late Kaye Rankin, extend our heartfelt thanks to family and friends for their kindness and compassion during the loss of our mother. To everyone who attended the wake and Funeral Mass, for the food brought to our homes, Mass and Sympathy cards, flowers, donations in her name and especially those who travelled to be with us, 'thank you'. Special thanks to Father Ray Huntley and Mom’s cousin, Father Francis Cameron for the beautiful Mass. To the pallbearers her six grandsons Danny, Bernie, Kenny, Jimmy, Angus, Cameron, Nanny loved you all so much. To the readers, granddaughters; Darlene Collins, Amanda Fraser, Holly Rankin, and the gift bearers, great-granddaughters, Regan Doyle and Fiona McGillivray. Nanny was so proud of all of you. To the ladies of the K.O.C. for the beautiful lunch, 'thank you'. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Palliative Care at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, you made our Mom comfortable in her final days. Thank you to V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home for their compassion and the extra things Basil did to make our loss easier. Though our hearts are broken, we are at peace knowing our Mother is with our Dad.
