Mom cherished all the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they held a very special place in her heart. For many years she had the “Ceramic Shop” sharing her knowledge and creativity with young and old alike and from this grew many lifelong friendships. In the summers Mom loved to work in her garden and her yard was a testament to that, sharing many of her plants with fellow gardeners. When it got too cold to be outside she kept her hands busy quilting, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching and any other crafty project that intrigued her. She loved working with wood and her home was full of her many projects. Mom was very talented and her love for all these things has been passed down to her children and grandchildren. Many family and friends have pieces of mom's handy work to treasure her memory. Mom had a wide circle of friends, she was either playing cards, having coffee, going to bingo or to the casino. Another of mom’s favorite things was camping. She camped from the states to western Canada but her favorite place was Cypress Hills. In her younger years mom enjoyed curling and has remained an avid fan, watching and commentating on “all” the games televised up to and including this week’s Brier. She always enjoyed the company of her cats Lady and Smokey and Robin's puppy Diego.

Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon (www.Binkleys.com) is in charge of the arrangements. For those wishing, Memorial Donations in memory of Dorothy Klath may be made to The Activity Fund at Shaunavon Long Term Care or the Saskatchewan Lung Association, in care of Binkley’s Funeral Service.
