NEW GLASGOW – Ruby Elizabeth Inglis, age 97, of the Glen Haven Manor, formerly of Pleasant St., New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the Manor.
Born in Manchester, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Mamie (Grady) Campbell.
She was a member of Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and a former Cub leader. She was very dedicated to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Farlie; son, Allan (Arlene), Little Harbour; step-granddaughter, Jane Hughes, Halifax; brother, Byron (Kitty), Easton, Mass.
She was predeceased by a sister, Hester MacIntosh; brothers: Arthur and Kenneth.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow, with Rev. Keith Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery at a later date.
