SMITH, Melissa – 75, Stewiacke, passed away peacefully at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, on March 13, 2014. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late George and Mable (Clark) Spencer. She is survived by her children Sheila Coffin (Donald), Mary Ann Smith, Bonnie Smith, Ricky Smith (Sonia), all of Stewiacke; Margo McMichael (Harold), Moncton, NB; 9 grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; sisters Vangie (Ralph) Leck, Rhoda Burns and Jeannie Spencer; brothers Tommy and Lawrence Spencer. She was predeceased by her husband Larry, brothers Raymond, Freeman, Robert and Edward Spencer, sisters Lena and Shirley. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held for family and friends at 10 am, Saturday, May 31, in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Chapel Court for the care they shown Mum.
