ARSENAULT, DIANA L. - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Diana Arsenault, who passed at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, March 14, 2014. Born in Fredericton May of 1943, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Arsenault and Catherine (Munn) Arsenault Getson. Diana was a homecare worker and worked for various companies within Saint John; including We Care, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and especially time spent with family and friends. Diana is survived by her loving husband Joseph Arsenault of Saint John; son Mark Arsenault (Jamie) of Saint John; daughters Lori Koval (Arden) of Rothesay and Lenore Fitzgerald (Scott) of Ontario; brother Wayne Chase (Joan) of Moncton, NB; sister Cathie Wells (Victor) of Black River; six precious grandchildren Sarah, Brad, Jacquelyn, Danielle, Billie and Matthew; two great-grandchildren Finn and Skyler; several nieces, nephews, friends and devoted canine companion Mag.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Private interment at a later date. Donations in Diane’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Lung Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
