
Leonard Thibodeau
THIBODEAU, LEONARD - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Leonard Thibodeau, of Easterville, Manitoba, on his 66th birthday, on Friday, March 7, 2014. Born in Adamsville, New Brunswick, on March 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Valmore and Imelda Thibodeau. He was a beloved teacher at the Chemauwawin School Easterville, Manitoba, and had been for many years. He is survived by daughters, Celina Thibodeau-Kalluk of Nunavut and Emily Thibodeau of Nova Scotia; a son Bahba Thibodeau-Kalluk of Nunavut; sisters Francine Bernard (Jean-Pierre) of Shediac, Leonie Vautour (Arthur) of St. Louis, brothers, Desire Thibodeau of St. Louis, Francois Thibodeau of St. Louis, Rene Thibodeau of St. Louis, Edouard Thibodeau (Wendy) of Rexton; grandchildren Jazlyn Kalluk, Aulaja Kalluk, Saima Kalluk, Ramata Kalluk; special cousin and dear friend, Catherine Richard of Easterville, Manitoba; and colleagues and students of Chemauwawin School, Easterville. We will remember his many words of wisdom and sage advice.
Celebrations of his life will be held at the Chemauwawin School in Easterville on Friday, March 14 and in St. Louis de Kent on March 24 at 11am., at the Des Francais Roman Catholic Church.
