Nason, Cecil William Frederick - Cecil W. F. Nason, age 73, of Saint John and formerly of Magaguadavic, NB passed away March 18, 2014 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Cecil was born at McAdam, NB in 1940, a son of the late Russell and Eva (Cleghorn) Nason of McAdam. He is survived by his children, Allan Nason (Crystal), Magaguadavic, NB and their children, Kelsey, Taylor and Heather; Wendy Parker (Lee), Lake George, NB and their children, Jeremy, Cody, Josh and Colton; Paul Nason (Darlene), Harvey, NB and their children, Amy and Mitchell; Mark Nason (Sandra), Harvey, NB and their children, Jillian, Jeffery and Zachery; Connie Eales (Billy Joe), Fort McMurray, AB and their children Jessica and Allison; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Marlene Boon (Eric), McAdam, NB; a brother, Leon Nason (Debbie), Harvey, NB; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Bell and Barbara Embleton, both of Harvey, NB and a brother-in-law, Joseph Fletcher, Magaguadavic, NB; several nieces and nephews; his loving companion, Georgie Stein and her family, Cathy and Leo, Donnie and Brenda, Brian and Andrea and their children. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Carolyn (Hood) Nason in 2000.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Fr. Kevin Borthwick officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment will take place later at Pine Grove Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Cecil, the family has suggested the Kidney Foundation, the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
