Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Long Term Care Centre in Corner Brook, Llewelyn Kitchener Sharpe, at the age of 96 years. He will be sadly missed by his son William (Bill) and daughter-in-law, Kathy of Corner Brook; grandson, Jason (Deanne) Sharpe in London, ON and granddaughter, Jennifer (Scott) Falshaw in Iqaluit, NU and two beautiful great-grandchildren: Olivia and Owen Sharpe, London, ON. Also left to mourn is his sister, Sadie Crane in Oakville, ON; brother Raymond (Phyllis) Sharpe in Corner Brook; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vera and Tom Murphy of Corner Brook and a circle of close relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie; brothers: John, Edwin and Donald and sisters: Mabel Janes and Marjorie Evis. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, March 24, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Fillatre’s Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue officiated by The Very Reverend Baxter Park. Internment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lew’s memory may be made to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation – Long Term Care Centre.
