Adeline Osborne

Adelaine Osborne passed away peacefully on March 23, 2014, at the age of 85, in Moose Jaw. Addie was born on the family farm on August 2, 1928 in the Vanguard area. In 1942 she moved to Swift Current with her parents and siblings and in 1947 married Daniel Hahn. She worked several years at the Pioneer Coop Grocery store. She married Morris Osborne in 1977, shortly thereafter retired and spent summers in Salmon Arm, BC and winters in Mesa, AZ. She moved to Moose Jaw in 2007 where she resided at Chateau St. Michael's Care Home and the Extendicare Nursing Home. Her passions were crocheting, dancing, fishing, golfing and playing cards. Addie was predeceased by her parents, Gotthold and Lydia Fischer, two husbands, Daniel Hahn in 1975 and Morris Osborne in 2007; and her son, Wesley Hahn in 2004. She was also predeceased by her brother, Gordon Fischer and sisters Frieda Kaiser and Edie Vibert. She is survived by her son Randy, daughters-in-law Debbie Hahn and Vicki Hahn, her grandchildren Tracy Hahn, Lori Hahn, Jason Hahn, Trisha (Chris) German, Stephanie (Steve) Chisholm, her great-grandson Kyle Bucknell and sister Doreen Overli. She is also survived by Morris’ children, Larry Osborne, Holly Kane, Sharon Fortney, Nancy Ford, Brenda Kenzie and Alan Osborne. At her request there will be no funeral service. Interment will take place at Swift Current Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Extendicare and Chateau St Michael's for their care over the last seven years. Arrangements are entrusted to Parkview Funeral Chapel.
