DASH, Margaret Isola, 77, Lockeport. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Margie on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born on October 25, 1936 to the late Heustis and Gertrude Langthorne and raised by the late David and Rosa Flemming of Port LaTour. In later years she moved to Sable River to live with Bernard and Marjorie Dexter. This is where she met and married the love of her life, our father, Owen Howell Dash. Mom enjoyed gardening, the music of the Dave Burbine band, her Toronto Blue Jays and the golf games of Tiger Woods. Left to cherish her memories here on earth are her children, Preston (Debbie), Sable River; Debbie (David), Little Harbour, and Tim (Karen), Lockeport. She was especially proud of her grandchildren Shawna, Melanie, Matthew and Chelsea and great-grandchildren Meaghan, Sydney and Owen. She is also survived by her sister Pauline Williams, Musquodobit and lifelong friends Shirley Nickerson, Port LaTour and Vivian Williams, Shelburne. She was predeceased by her husband Owen, brother Bill Langthorne, sister Bernice Sollows and her mother-in-law, Lucy Dash, whom she loved as her own. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2:00 p.m. at the Sable River Baptist Church. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mom’s memory to the Lockeport and Area Medical First Responders. A reception for family and friends will be held at the Sable River Community Hall following the service.
