SCOTT, HELEN - Mrs. Helen Margaretta Scott of Hammondvale, died on March 31, 2014 at Kings Way Care Centre in Quispamsis. Helen was born in Upperton on December 12, 1917; she was a daughter of the late Hanford and Ethel (nee Fowler) Drummond. Helen was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald Scott in 2000; her daughter Gladys in 1990; and her son-in-law Gordon Reed in 1993. Helen is survived by her sons: Albert (Kathy) Scott of Hammondvale, and Ivan (Wanda) Scott of Fredericton; her daughter, Ida (Doug) Moffett of Collina; 14 grandchildren, 23.5 great-grandchildren; her brother Albert Drummond of Toronto; her sister Mary Teakles of Penobsquis; and her sister-in-law Laura Drummond of Upperton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133), from where visitation will be held on Thursday April 3, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday April 4, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Allen Tapley and Rev. Alan Reynolds presiding.
