July 4, 1946 - April 2, 2014. It is with great sorrow that the family of Garry O'Brien (long time Letter Carrier with Canada Post) announce his sudden passing on April 2, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Charles (1988) and Angela (1995) O'Brien; brother-in-law, Clifford Croft (1982) and Wilhelmina (2010). Leaving to mourn his loving partner, Nelsa and her family; and his daughter, Alicia Wiseman (Jason). A very dear brother to his sisters; Teresa Kettlewell (Bob), Bernadette Kenny (Ambrose), Nellie Williams (Gary), Mary O'Brien, Josephine Coady (Hughie), Paula Doyle (Jimmy), Imelda Swain (Kenneth); and to his brothers Ambrose (Anne Marie), Kenny (Barbara), Calvin (Marion) and Myles (Edna). Garry also leaves behind his large number of nieces and nephews and other close relatives and friends including his Canada Post coworkers. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Friday, April 4 from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 5 from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle on Sunday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle. Garry will be forever remembered for his great sense of humour, his endless jokes, his hard work ethics and his love for family.
