Bernice Fougere
FOUGÈRE, BERNICE - Bernice Fougère, 81, wife of the late Arthur Fougère of Foyer Jean-Marie Allain, Bouctouche, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Moncton Hospital. Born in Saint-John on September 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Alice (Vautour) Vautour. Bernice was a retired employee at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. She was also a past volunteer at the Open Hands Food Bank in Moncton. She is survived by two children: Ronnie of Oshawa, ON and Annette (Leonard) of Moncton; one sister: Beatrice Léger-St Pierre of Cocagne; a son in-law, Ronald Belliveau of Notre Dame; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Belliveau (2013); two sisters: Aline Doiron and Barbara Leger (2013); three brothers: Maurice, Donald and Raymond; one granddaughter, Monique.
The funeral service will be held at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297), on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 4 p.m. Visiting hours Monday from 2 p.m. until time of service. In memory of Bernice, a contribution to the Vestiaire St-Joseph Inc. would be appreciated. Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac (532-3297).
