The death occurred at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Sunday, April 6, 2014, of Isabella Berrigan, loving wife of Lawrence for 57 years, in her 85th year.
Isabella was the beloved mother of Glenda MacLeod (Richard Garnett), Barb Rogers (Donnie - deceased) and Larry; grandmother of Jason MacKay (Shannon) and Jeff MacKay (Nicole); and Payton, Paige and Paris Berrigan; and great-grandmother of Cody, Brittany and Tate. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Krista (McGuigan) Berrigan; brother, Eric (Mae); sisters-in-law, Blanche Matheson, Mary Matheson, Gladys Walsh, Agnes Matheson and Winnie Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Isabella was predeceased by her parents, John D. and Ada (Hickox) Matheson; brothers, Elmer, Jack (Alice), Homer (Jenny), Benjamin, Major, Millar and Roddie, and two brothers in infancy, John Arthur and Arthur John; sister, Eleanor Stanley (Herbie); brothers-in-law, Jack Davies (Frances), Ivan Stewart (Margaret), George Stewart, Freddie Berrigan and Wally Berrigan (Eleanor); and parents-in-law, Walter and Adeline (Morrison) Berrigan.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 1 to 2:45 p.m., to be followed by the funeral at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
