Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Friday, April 4, 2014, of Barry Charles Reagh Moreside, of West Royalty and formerly of North Milton, age 77 years.
Loving husband of Myrna (nee Crane). Dear father of Darlene (Roger) Bakker, Cheryl (Earl) Hambly, Douglas (Sandy) and Glenn Moreside. Foster parent of Laura Lutz. Grampie to Jenna (Kevin Didden), Travis and Logan Bakker, Mallory (Jesse Waye) and Spencer (Bailey Costain) Hambly, Colton, Tyson Moreside and Owen Wilson. Great-grampie of Shaelynn Stordy. Brother of Jeanette (Clayton) Smith, Stella (Winston) Ford, Georgie Silliphant and brother-in-law of Wendell Silliphant, Bobby (Ellie) Crane, Betty MacEachern, Gary (Patsy Doucette) and Helen Crane. Special pets Sparky and Molly.
Predeceased by his parents, Reagh and Blanche Moreside; infant son, Charles Dean; sister, Olga Toombs; sister-in-law, Valerie Crane; and brothers–in-law, Inglis MacEachern and Buddy Crane; nephews, Douglas Allan Smith and Thane Barry Douglas Ford.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Tuesday from Winsloe United Church at 10 a.m. Interment later in The People’s Cemetery. If so desired memorials to the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Diabetic Association or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated. Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
