Passed away peacefully April 7, 2014.
Mom was born March 6,1934 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and just celebrated her 80th birthday. Darlene and Bud (Wilbert Roy) married in 1953 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past year.
Darlene was a power house, having a successful career in real estate as both an agent and broker, in both Swift Current and Saskatoon, SK.
Darlene and Bud raised three girls, Tara Hughton (Basil, two grandsons Jamey and Jordie), Nancy Valerie Lynn Brentnell and Brenda Robinson (granddaughter Coral).
Mom enjoyed contracting, building and having many lasting friendships. Mom was gifted at painting and shell mirror art, to which she brought life to every piece.
Darlene and Bud made their retirement in Sechelt, BC and San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.
She will be missed by many.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 12, at Living Faith Lutheran Church in Davis Bay.
