LeBLANC, MONIQUE - Monique Marie LeBlanc, born July 16th, 1953 in Rexton, NB. Raised in Saint John, NB but moved to Nova Scotia in 1983. Died peacefully on April 8, 2014, loved laughter, walking with best friends, music and sewing. Monique is survived by her loving daughter Karla and husband Kenneth Dawe, her mom Marie-Anne LeBlanc, brothers Alvin, David and Edward and sister Jeanette LeBlanc. Predeceased by her father Adelin LeBlanc. Monique's loyalty and devotion to her workplace gave her joy for over 25 years. She cherished the loving support from her co-workers. Educated in NB, followed by course at Saint Mary's University, and devoted many volunteer hours within her community.
A tribute and celebation of life to follow on April 26, 2014 at Brightwood Golf & Country Club, Dartmouth, NB at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Halifax or SPCA. Mary thanks to the Dartmouth General and VG Palliative Unit staff for their compassion.
