CARD OF THANKS
“Ada (Cornforth) Waye”
We, the family of the late Ada Waye, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our family, friends and neighbors for their comforting support during our recent loss. Thank you to those who visited, phoned, sent cards, flowers, made memorial donations or brought food to our homes. Thank you to all staff of the Cape Breton Regional Health Care System who were involved in any way in Ada’s care, especially staff of the Renal Dialysis Unit, who became part of her extended family during her last two years. Thank you to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit, who made her last few days a time of peace for her and her family. Thank you to Pastor Gary Dillon and the choir of the Glace Bay Baptist Church for a very comforting service and to Charles MacDonald (Jr.) for a personal and thoughtful eulogy. Thank you to the ladies of the G.M.M.G. for providing a tasty lunch following the service. Thank you to all who attended the funeral service, especially those who travelled long distances to show their love and support. It was a testimony to how many lives she touched with her caring personality. Thank you to the staff of Patten Funeral Home for their professional and compassionate care. To all who helped in any way, we are deeply grateful.
