Charles P. Dingwell

Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, Charles P. Dingwell in his 78th year, Head Of Montague, devoted husband of Katherine (Campbell) Dingwell, occurred on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Born October 16, 1936, in Bay Fortune, PE, he was a son of the late Charles E. And Ruth (Clapp) Dingwell. Charles was a long time employee for the Province of New Brunswick, Member and Volunteer to the Church of Christ and a dedicated Volunteer to the local Foodbank. Besides his devoted wife Katherine, Charles is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving children Shirley (David) Killam, Karen Dingwell, Wendy (Mark) Dingwell-Wilson, Richard (Gene) Dingwell, Carl (Natasha-McLean) Dingwell; brothers Leith Dingwell, Roger (Kay) Dingwell, David (Dessie) Dingwell; ten cherished grandchildren Peter Wallace, Carling Killam, Chris Killam, James Dingwell, Heidi Dingwell, Christina Dingwell, Jordan Dingwell, Ashley Dingwell, Brandon Dingwell and Niall Dingwell; six cherished great grandchildren Hunter Killam, Corey Killam, Colten Killam, Rylee Wallace, Sawyer Killam and Annandale Killam; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Jackie, Bill, Brian; sister Joy and Beloved Gam Lilla Dingwell. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday, April 18, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Church Of Christ, Montague at 2 p.m., with Ben Abbott officiating. Interment to take place in Acorn Cemetery, Dundas at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated. www.fergusonlogan.com
