BROWN, MR. E. DARYL - 1931 - 2014 - Miramichi - Mr. Everett "Daryl" Brown, husband of Joyce N. Brown, of the Veterans Wing of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of Winnipeg Crescent, Miramichi, passed away at his residence on Wednesday afternoon, April 16, 2014, at the age of 83. Born in Springhill, N.S., on March 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Hiram and Eunice (Thompson) Brown. He was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces (Cdn. Army) and a former Peacekeeper in Cyprus. He attended Holy Trinity Cong. Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Joyce N. Halliday; four sons, Greg (Janice), of Oshawa, Ont., Wade (Karen), of Medicine Hat, AB, Brian (Sherry), of Calgary. AB, James (Donna), of Edmonton, AB; one sister, Lilla Wager (Vic), of Lunenburg, N.S.; one brother, James Brown (Bessie), of Sydney Mines, N.S.; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Glenda Pashkoski and Beverly White; one brother, Merlin Brown; infant sister and brother, Lois and Charles.
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, April 21, 2014, at 1 pm, conducted by Pastor Willard Watling. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, later in the spring. Please note - members of Branch # 3 Royal Canadian Legion are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:30 pm for a Veterans Service.
