PENNEY, MARGARET PATRICIA (TRISH) - The death of Margaret Patricia (Trish) Penney of Burton, NB, occurred on Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Neary) Wrice. Trish is survived by her loving husband Wesley of Burton; a daughter Kim Penney (Jamie) of Fredericton, NB; sons David Penney (Holly) of Oromocto, NB, Ryan Penney of Burton and Chris Penney (Tara) of Greenwood, NS; brothers Bernie Wrice (Judy), Mickey Wrice (Liz) and Joseph Wrice (Sylvia); sisters Theresa Young, Florence Benoit (Bill), Muriel Timmerman (Leonard), Alice Oakley (Joe), Anne Marie Kelly (Kevin) and Rita Morrison (Donnie); her “sweetums”, Ryan, Charlie, Hunter, Lauren and Grady; special nieces Darlene Warnell, Jackie MacIsaac and Lynette Shepard and special friend Joan Manderson.
Resting at the Oromocto Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, April 21st, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Oromocto, NB. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
