LANG, ALEXINA MARIE - It is with profound sadness that the family of Alexina Marie Lang wife of Leonard Lang, announce her passing which occurred peacefully April 18, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Alexina was born on January 02, 1921 to the late Wilfred and Zellica (McGraw) Goguen. Alexina and her husband Leonard have been married for a cherished 64 years. She was a devoted and loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and friend. She was also a former member of the Ties and Frills Square Dance Club and an avid baker and seamstress. Besides her loving husband, Alexina is survived by her two sons; Bruce John (Maureen) Lang and Paul Leonard (Eleanor) Lang of Saint John, New Brunswick, two daughters; Rosemarie (Deryl) Fitzgerald and Susan Marie (Kevin) Dunn of Saint John, New Brunswick, one sister; Marie Goguen of Moncton, New Brunswick. She is survived by seven loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Alexina was predeceased by her brothers; Placid Goguen and Eloi Goguen, sisters; Viola Noel and Yvonne Gallant.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) with visiting Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
