Logan Harris
Born: December 27th, 2005
Passed in: Sydney
Passed on: April 17th, 2014
Logan Riley Harris, was born December 27th, 2005, passed away April 17, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Logan was the beloved child of Tracy Harris and Kelly Mollons of Sydney.
Logan was a grade 2 student at Cusack Elementary. He was a wonderful little boy who truly enjoyed spending time with his cousins, playing with his friends, and wrestling with his uncles. He loved playmobiles and legos, catching bugs and playing with his little dog Angel. Just recently the CBRM Police Force welcomed him as an honorary police officer, because he always wanted to “catch the bad guys”. He possessed tremendous strength and perseverance, and with his courage, leads us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Logan was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Besides his parents, Logan is survived by his big sister Kayla Harris, at home; maternal grandparents Randall (Nina) Finnigan, North Sydney; aunts Michelle (John) MacIntosh, Ont., Coreena (George Andrea) Harris, North Sydney, Roseann (Matt Benac) Finnigan, Bras D’or, Alicia (Sean Tobin) Finnigan, Sydney Mines, Rhonda (Jim) McCallum, and Maureen (Dave) MacLellan, both of Sydney; uncles Randall (Stacy MacNeil) Finnigan, and, Andrew (Erin) Finnigan, both of North Sydney, Denis (Mary) Mollons, Ont.; cousins, Adrian and Katie MacIntosh, Courtney and Kalysta Marsh, Hayden, Jake, and Evan Benac, Katie and Michelle MacLellan, Tracy, Melissa and Dave McCallum, Matthew, Steven and Greg Mollons, and his Nanny Joyce Fogarty. Logan is also survived by his friends Madison, Keagan, and special friend Naraya Nichol.
Logan will be joining heaven with his paternal grandparents Mary (Allen) Mollons and Earl Mollons and uncle Reggie Mollons.
Funeral mass will take place Monday April 21, 2014 in St. Joseph’s Church, North Sydney at 10 a.m. with Fr. Patrick O’Neill officiating.
