(September 22, 1920 - April 21, 2014): Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on April 21, 2014 William Hawco, aged 93yrs of Chapel's Cove. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Elizabeth Hawco, and loving wife of 57 years Genevieve Gibbons Hawco on May 4, 2011, daughters Mary & Linda, son, Raymond, grandson, David Hawco, sisters: Betsy, Mary, & Bride. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Marilyn (Ron), Thomas (Julie), Leo (Marie), Doreen, Des (Paula), Angela (Pat), Bertha (Eldred), Billy (Dan), Madeline (Joe), Elizabeth, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters: Angela, Madeline, Tess, Annie, Gertrude, and Florie, brother, Bernard (Geraldine), nephew Tom Hawco (Debbie) and a large circle of extended family and friends, especially Mike Crawley and Fred Hickey. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Wednesday & Thursday from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00 am from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment to follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Chapel's Cove.
