WINSLOW, WANDA MARIE – Wanda Marie (Briggs) Winslow, of Woodstock NB, passed away on April 25, 2014. Born January 30, 1931, to Fred and Stella (Lindsay) Briggs of Briggs Mills NB, she was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and family. Meme will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wanda was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John (December 7, 2013) and is survived by her children and grandchildren: Ann (children Gina, Michael, Cameron), Ned (wife Lorrie [Craig] and children Ryan, Rob, Ted, Anne), Jane (husband Jerry Trafford, children Alex, Courtney, Brittany), Bob (wife Mary-Ann [Campbell], children Shawn, Jessica, Drew, Luke) and Barbara (husband Robert Miceli, children Laura, Christina); fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers Eric Briggs, and Weldon Briggs and sister Marian McIntosh. Sister Irma and brother Neil predeceased her.
Visitation will be held at The Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street in Woodstock on Monday, April 28, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be conducted for family only, with Rev. Shirley Noseworthy officiating. Interment will take place at the Christ Church Cemetery, Lower Woodstock, NB at a later date. Donations may be made in care of the Funeral Home to the LP Fisher Public Library Memorial Fund for the purchase of books for children.
